Using Robotics to Further Education in STEM
Raven Robotics uses hands-on experience to teach high school students engineering, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Raven Robotics uses hands-on experience to teach high school students engineering, leadership, and teamwork skills.
At Raven Robotics, our team is made up of students from all three Francis Howell School District high schools. Our team includes students on four teams: mechanical, electrical, programming, and field, along with experienced mentors who work together to create a competitive robot capable of meeting parameters and completing tasks set forth by FIRST Robotics every year.
"FIRST® Robotics Competition combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. Under strict rules and limited time and resources, teams of high school students are challenged to build industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game in alliance with other teams, while they also fundraise to meet their goals, create a team identity, and advance respect and appreciation for STEM within the local community." - https://www.firstinspires.org/
Your contribution will support our program by providing funding for materials, transport to and from competitions, fees, and more. We are incredibly thankful for your generosity!
Our sponsorship packet is linked here.
The best way to donate to our program is with a physical check made out to the Francis Howell School District, specifying that it's for the robotics team.
